spectator / brief

Brief
The task is to take the existing Spectator zine created in the DrMe workshop and develop it into a fully functioning magazine. The publication should be at least 40 pages and should work as a homage to nature. This brief will develop your layout skills as the majority of the content, if not all, is images.

Considerations
Consider the stock and binding method for the publication. The main focus is the images so they shouldn't be affected by the stock or binding method. The audience for the magazine should be discussed. The size of the magazine should be revised as the original zine is roughly A6. Collecting images will take a large amount of time as they should be from existing magazines and scanned into the computer. This needs to be budgeted for in the time plan.

Timeplan
The project should take between 3-4 weeks.

Mandatory Requirements
Blog posts documenting the process of the project.
Design boards.

Deliverables
Final magazine printed, bound and photographed.
