To begin the process of creating a concept, we first started to brainstorm names. We wanted something that would show off the college and our work, rather than concentrating on leaving the university.

After some discussion, we decided that Lo and Behold (derived from Look and See) was the name we liked the best. It conveys a sense of greatness and that everyone should look at what we've created.
Once we had the name, we started to think about what stylistic treatment would work best. Lo has a very contemporary style and we wanted to work that into our branding somehow, yet still conveying grandeur. My main thought for the identity was a spotlight beaming down in the background of the poster. This shows a focus on our work and puts Leeds College of Art centre stage.
