whiskey / initial ideas

As almost all of the taste of whiskey comes from its contact with oak casks, it seems appropriate to include this in the design. A wood texture wrapping around the bottle with the information in-between has potential, and the other flavours could be represented in the type or colour of the label design.

As whiskey can have a floral, light flavour the design can be subtle and delicate. This is appropriate for the audience as with a 25-40 year old female demographic, a floral and graceful design will be new to the shelf and appeal to them more than an older, traditional design.

Gypsophila flowers are small, dainty and the white compliments the lightness of the floral whiskey's. This kind of flower could be used in the visual identity of the brand or on the label itself.
