Before the labels can be placed on the bottle it first needs to be sandblasted. To do this, the pattern was cut out of vinyl and the parts that were being sandblasted were left exposed. The rest of the bottle needed to be taped to ensure that no sand got onto it.
Once the sandblasting was complete, I removed the vinyl and the results were great! The design is very subtle and adds an extra dimension to the bottle.
I proceeded to add the rest of the labels and included a small tag attached to the neck which contains information about the tasting and flavour combinations of this particular whisky.
