confectionary packaging / brand strategy

After considering a list of names, Yummies and Confetti were the favourite contenders. Once the name was decided, the brand identity could begin to grow and designing could commence.

Yummies
- Potential Characters
- Universal name, can apply to any product
- Fun, bespoke type design
- Bright colours

Confetti
- Confetti can be included in the visual identity
- Party, fun, celebratory
- Confetti Confectionary (alliteration)
- Colourful, exciting and happy

Once the points of each name were written down, I felt that Confetti Confectionary had the stronger visual identity and brand image. The name has connotations of fun, has potential for a running theme throughout the branding and can appeal to anyone of any age.

Brand Strategy: 
Name - Confetti Confectionary
Audience - Everyone!
Visual Identity - Fun, colourful aesthetic with a party atmosphere.
Products - Hard boiled sweets and chocolate. Exciting flavour combinations.
Packaging - Easily recyclable cardboard boxes for the sweets, with individual wrappers. The chocolate will be packaged in foil to keep it fresh, with a paper wrap-around to display the design.
Promotional Material - Posters, social media campaign, competitions, website.
