spectator / development

To develop the magazine further I have created more spreads and have included a short narrative. The first spread of the publication will read "we are all spectators", and the final spread will read "of planet earth". These two sentences show the underlying concept of the project and will only make sense if the reader pays attention throughout reading the magazine.

The typeface is purposefully quite dark to blend into the background. Although this magazine is just collages, the reader must pay attention so not to miss any details. The front cover is just the image of the audience sitting down - no title, and the back cover is a black and white version of the empty chairs. This symbolises that nature is putting on a show for the humans, and once the magazine has finished the audience has gone home back to their daily lives, not ready to be aware or consider nature again until the magazine is opened once more.
