PINK magazine / initial spreads

After getting some initial content from Georgie, me and Lo got to work in designing some spreads to see whether we're heading in the right direction. We thought of giving the magazine a contemporary slant to reflect the young audience and the purpose of the magazine not conforming to the "mainstream" content.

The N is reversed to represent the off-beat content

We tried to stick to the pale colour scheme but offset this with using Univers Bold/Black for our body copy. We felt the design should reflect the impact that the magazine is trying to have amongst young readers.
