The printing of the booklet was a success, the stock used has a subtle shine and is thicker on the cover. The printed spreads were taken to the Leeds Print & Copy Bureau where I had enquired about perfect binding previously. Unfortunately there had been some miscommunication over the binding and they only perfect bind projects that have over 25 copies. I spoke to the advisor and we decided on a different kind of bind. The booklet was bound using glue and tape which gives the effect of perfect binding but doesn't have the full wrap around front/back cover.
Unfortunately as I didn't account for the tape, the cover is off-centre overall. This was unavoidable as the binding was done then and there, and I could not afford to re-print the booklet. Generally, I am pleased with how the booklet has come out, the binding is similar to perfect binding although the black strip is quite distracting (the choice of colours were green, blue or black).
